Another trip to Southcenter for Lush goodies. I know. I know. I have a problem. But I only bought three things and none of them were for me. I also picked up a few things at Macy's for my mom's birthday. She is going to be spoiled this year. My sister and I have a few surprises up our sleeves. Hehe.

When I saw this quilted riding jacket at Goodwill, I knew that I had to have it. I fell in love instantly. Recently I've started watching Barbara, or ThePersianbabe as she's known on YouTube, and in a few of her videos she featured a quilted Barbour jacket. Here's the link to the first one I saw. And after that I've really wanted a similar style jacket. Only, I couldn't convince myself that spending over a hundred dollars on a jacket like that was logical. Plus, I'm not sure where to by a Barbour jacket in the states. Are they even sold here? I'm not sure. But I love Barbara's videos. She seems so down to earth and she has great style. I especially love it when she talks about University in the UK. It's so different from here in the U.S.

Look how beautiful the cherry blossoms are? They are stunning! And it means that spring is on its way. Hopefully? The past few weeks have been hot and cold--literally. Last week I finally finished the last book in The Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay. I will be doing reviews on my second blog but no spoilers, I promise. After reading Catching Fire I'm now so, so, so excited for the movie adaption. The second book was my favorite. I'm excited to see how they interpret it. On Monday I dedicated a whole post to Jennifer Lawrence's street style. She is so pretty and I thought she did a great job in the movie.

Also, you might have noticed that I'm wearing my new glasses! I've seemed to permanently misplaced my old pair. It was weird because I was recently asked by a girl in my Bio classes if my glasses were perscription or not. I was a bit surprised because I've never been asked that before. After I recovered, I just laughed and told her I wasn't cool enough to be that hipster. I'm just a nerd with bad vision. Simple enough. Did you think my glasses were non-perscription?

I may not be the best ice skater...but I try. This past weekend I tried my luck on the ice and honed my skills. I'm sure that you can tell from the pictures that I'm fantastic! *sarcasm* But I didn't fall. So I'm proud about that. I was able to keep my feet beneath me. It doesn't matter that I looked ridiculous with my arms flailing.

I kept my clothing very simple and comfy. Do any of you skate? My sister took lessons for years and you would think that a little bit of her talent would have rubbed off on me. But no such luck.

Another day in the snow. Almost all of these photos are courtesy of my friend, Jena. Thank you! We spent the day exploring in the snow. And building Snow Cat. He's the beautiful creature in the top left picture. We're so talented, right? I don't know why I never realized that I had a future in snow sculptures.

I love the combination of the light turquoise of my top mixed with the bright purple. Best part? The scarf was seven dollars and the top was three! I love it when I can find fantastic bargains and Goodwill is the best place to find them! I am now an official thrifting junkie.

Pink Glitter TOMS

Helllllooo! Another outfit of the day. I've been doing a lot of these lately. Maybe I should stop wearing so many outfits. This is getting ridiculous. No, I kid. I kid. But the other day my sister and I ventured to Southcenter mall in Tukwila because it was home to the closest LUSH store. This is also the location of one of my other OOTD back in August. Click here to see how the Nordstrom windows have changed since then. I really loved the window behind me in these pictures. The hot pink pants and cobalt blue trousers? I want! Anyway, even though we went there solely to buy LUSH goodies I only bought two things but I might do a mini [very mini] LUSH haul. But who knows?

We also stopped by Bath and Body Works and they had all their Spring/Summer candle scents out. OMG! I was in heaven. They all smelled so good. I didn't pick any up because I truly believe that twenty dollars for a candle is ridiculous but I have my eye on a few scents once they go on sale. I really love this top I got from Goodwill. It is light and easy to wear. Plus I only paid three dollars for it. Ever since I started thrifting I'm finding it harder and harder to buy clothes for full price in stores. It's becoming a problem. I'm turning into Ebeneezer Scrooge! Help me.

Snow White Sweater

More pictures from the snow days! It is already March and I'm realizing how late I am publishing these photos. But I'm going to anyway. I love the first picture. It reminds me of the lamp post and Lucy in Narnia: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. Am I the only one? I think it's so fun. All I need is an umbrella...well, of course, and a faun. Know where I can one?

And of course, what do I do when it's below freezing outside? Get bubble tea--the slushie kind. It didn't really help me stay warm but whatever. I can handle the chill. On a seperate note, I am obsessed with these head-muffs from Aerie. O.M.G. They are the most amazing thing ever. I wear these things in my dorm to keep warm and they are fantastic. I don't use any other headphones unless I have to. I don't think these are still available in stores but come next winter I'm picking up another pair.
