REFLECTOR SUNGLASSES

Now that the warm weather is arriving is when we can use our sunglasses (although I wear them the whole year because I have very sensitive eyes and skin).

Surfing through the internet I've come up with refector sunglasses. We can find them in different shapes and colours. I'm not quite sure if I like them or not. What about you?

Ahora que llega el buen tiempo, es cuando podemos utilizar más las gafas de sol (aunque yo las llevo todo el año porque tengo los ojos y la piel muy sensible).

Mirando por internet, he visto que están pegando fuerte las gafas de sol reflectantes. Las hay en varios colores y de diferentes formas. Yo aún no sé si me gustan o no. ¿Cómo las veis vosotros?

TIE DYE

When I was at High School tie dye jeans were trendy. I was not very fan of this trend but I remember that my sister had her pair of tie dye jeans, which she wore in style.

This trend has come back and now we can see many bloggers wearing their tie dye jeans:

Cuando iba al instituto se llevaban los vaqueros desteñidos. A mí esa tendencia no me gustaba mucho, pero recuero que mi hermana tenía unos pantalones desteñidos que llevaba con mucho estilo.

Ahora esta tendencia ha vuelto y podemos ver a muchas bloggers luciendo los suyos:

But this trend is not only for jeans, but also for other garments such as shorts, shirts, jackets, etc.

Pero esta tendencia no es sólo para vaqueros, sino también para otras prendas como shorts, camisas, chaquetas, etc.

WHITE ON WHITE

I've never paired two white (or cream) garments. Whenever I tried that combination I had the feeling that I looked like a painter, so I changed my mind.

Looks like this trend is in fashion now since I've been seeing too many looks pairing two or more white garments. Do you like this trend?

Nunca he sido de combinar dos prendas blancas (o color crema) juntas. Cuando me probaba esta combinación, me daba la impresión de que iba de pintor, así que me cambiaba corriendo.

Parece que ahora esta tendencia está de moda porque he visto numerosos looks combinando dos prendas (o más) blancas. ¿Qué os parece?

CONVERSE

I still remember when I was at high school by the 90's that the Converse sneakers came into fashion. That was the grunge time when maxi jerseys, ripped jeans and checkered shirts were in fashion. For me Converse sneakers was love at first sight. I can remember that I bought a pair in pink, well, pink is not a grunge colour actually. 

Some years ago the grunge style became popular again, although maybe not in such an excessive way as in the 90's. So with this trend, Converse  sneakers became popular, too. It seemed that this trend would last only a few days, but the truth is that we see Converse sneakers regularly in the streets and in shop windows. Even celebrities and bloggers wear them daily.

 

Todavía me acuerdo de cuando, estando en el instituto allá por los años 90, se pusieron de moda las zapatillas Converse. Era la época del grunge, de los jerseys grandes, de los pantalones vaqueros rotos, de las camisetas estiradas, de las camisas de leñador… Y a mí las Converse me cautivaron enseguida. Recuerdo que me compré unas en color rosa, que, ahora que lo pienso, no son muy grunge, pero lo cierto es que elegí ese color.
Y como en moda todo vuelve, hace unos años regresó el estilogrunge, aunque quizás no tan exagerado como en la década de los 90. Y con élvolvieron también las Converse.Parecía que iba a ser cosa de dos días, la verdad es que las Converse siguen viéndose por lacalle y en los escaparates. Incluso las celebrities y las bloggers las usan ensu día a día.

Last year I bought a pair of Converse sneakers in white and I usually wear them because they're very comfortable. As a sign, here you have a look of mine wearing them. Actually I feel so comfy with them that I really want to buy a new pair. There are too many different types: with the American flag, with dots, with flowers, in denim or even with a Batman drawing.  

Yo misma, que el año pasado me compré mis Converse blancas,sigo llevándolas cuando quiero ir cómoda. Como muestra, aquí tenéis un look que hice con ellas. De hecho, estoy tan a gusto con ellas que tengo ganas de comprarme otras. Ahorahe visto que además de colores diversos las hay con la bandera americana, conlunares, con flores, con tela vaquera e incluso con un Batman dibujado.

WHITE BLAZER

Blazers are my ally when I have to go to the office for working, because they give that serious touch to my looks. In winter I usually wear blazers in dark colours (black, dark blue, camel), whilst in summer I wear blazers in bright colours (remember that last year colour blocking was in fashion).

Amongst all my blazers, I'm very fond of my white one. It's perfect for this season and it pairs with everything.

So today I want to show you some looks with white blazer. You'll see serious and casual looks, since both are possible with white blazer.

Los blazers son mis aliados para ir a trabajar porque le dan ese toque formal a mis looks. En invierno apuesto por blazers oscuros (negros, azules marinos, camel), mientras que en verano me atrevo con blazers de colores más llamativos (todas recordaréis que el año pasado por esta época el color block estaba muy de moda).

Sin embargo, un blazer que no pasa de moda y que yo lo considero un fondo de armario es el de color blanco. Para esta época es perfecto y, aparte de combinar con todo, queda muy elegante.

Así, hoy os quiero mostrar looks con blazer blanco. Veréis que se pueden crear looks tanto formales como informales (con shorts, por ejemplo) con este tipo de blazer.
