Happy Easter : The Recessionista's Easter Fashion & Deal Round-up

Happy Easter readers! There's not a lot of my agenda today other than Easter brunch, house cleaning, and later the fabulous art of doing my taxes. However, if you have the heart or the wallet to do online shopping, there are some good deals out there that I want to highlight here.  I hope you all enjoy the day, whether you are enjoying Easter, Passover or a combination of both (some call Eastover.)

Deals:  Kohl's is having  a big Easter sale. Use code EASTER20 to save 20% on purchases over $100.00 US, and Easter15 to save 15% on items under $100.00.  I took advantage of the codes and ordered a J Lo Ponte Knit dress.  In my opinion, it's the best item in the Jennifer Lopez collection.  There's a lot of fashion from Kohl's that I don't think is a good deal, but this is one item  I think is.  The dress was released earlier this year in cream, but it was too sheer and wasn't lined.  I think the offering in black is much more practical.  It's definitely a dress you can  wear for business as well as evening. Note it does run small, so size up. It's mostly sold out on line, but still in stock in stores, so just bring your coupons to save. Also, look for savings on Kohl's popular Rock and Republic collection and Simply Vera.  The codes seem to apply to everything at the store.

Bloomingdales is offering 20% off savings today on just about everything on their website.  Many designer deals are featured. If you haven't thought about Mother's day gifting, you might want to plan in advance using this sale to select something for Mom.

Macy's: The entire Doo.Ri collection for Impulse is now on Clearance.  I reviewed this collection previously and found it has some terrific pieces. If you like Doo.Ri this is a great time to grab a deal.  Use promo code EASTER to save another 15%.
