Dark Green Cardigan

Sweater--c/o Aerie, Cami--Aeropostale, Cardigan--Thrifted from Goodwill, Jeggings--American Eagle, Skates--rented

I may not be the best ice skater...but I try. This past weekend I tried my luck on the ice and honed my skills. I'm sure that you can tell from the pictures that I'm fantastic! *sarcasm* But I didn't fall. So I'm proud about that. I was able to keep my feet beneath me. It doesn't matter that I looked ridiculous with my arms flailing.

I kept my clothing very simple and comfy. Do any of you skate? My sister took lessons for years and you would think that a little bit of her talent would have rubbed off on me. But no such luck.

Aerie Summer 2012 Preview Event

Hello! I recently attended Aerie's 2012 Summer Preview Event here, in the rainy Seattle area. In case you didn't know, Aerie is the sister company to American Eagle. Which, if you've read my blog for any amount of time, you will know that I love. Their jeggings are amazing. So comfortable and easy to wear. I think I wear them in like every single outfit post. Yeah. It's a problem.

But, anyway, I was invited to check out the new summer wear that is now available in stores. I went with my sister and we both immediately fell in love with the bathing suits. They have so many and they're all so brightly colored. They make me long for warmer weather. I also fell in love with their scarves and accessories. So. Many. Bright. Colors. I love it.

Also. Did you know that Aerie sells laundry soap? I couldn't believe it either so I had to take a picture. It is the second photo down, to the right. So weird. I had no idea. One thing I love about Aerie is their fantastic customer service. The one girl who helped me with my shopping was so nice. She remembered my name for much longer than I was expecting and when I needed a smaller size in the dressing room she was kind enough to grab it for me. All I had to do was push that blue button pictured above [the button next to the poster advertising a free trip to Coachella] and she came to help. Speaking of the dressing rooms, they were so nice and spacious. I've never been in there. I've always just bought accessories in store and then clothing online. It was a welcome experience. I'm going to have to make a few more instore trips to Aerie.

What do you think of Aerie's new Summer collection? I really, really liked it. Aerie really is a fantastic brand. The people behind their twitter and other social media are friendly and willing to communicate with their consumers. Good customer service is what makes or breaks a company. Last November I attended the Aerie Holiday Trunk show and I blogged about my time there. Click here to see that. What are your thoughts about Aerie? Please leave them in the comments below!

Snow White Sweater

Sweater + Earphone Ear Muffs--c/o Aerie, Scarf--Romy, Nails--OPI Pamplona Purple, Cardigan--Thrifted School Apparel from Goodwill, Jeggings--American Eagle, Boots--Unkown

More pictures from the snow days! It is already March and I'm realizing how late I am publishing these photos. But I'm going to anyway. I love the first picture. It reminds me of the lamp post and Lucy in Narnia: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. Am I the only one? I think it's so fun. All I need is an umbrella...well, of course, and a faun. Know where I can one?

And of course, what do I do when it's below freezing outside? Get bubble tea--the slushie kind. It didn't really help me stay warm but whatever. I can handle the chill. On a seperate note, I am obsessed with these head-muffs from Aerie. O.M.G. They are the most amazing thing ever. I wear these things in my dorm to keep warm and they are fantastic. I don't use any other headphones unless I have to. I don't think these are still available in stores but come next winter I'm picking up another pair.
